just ordered this laptop good deal or no?


Dell XPS M1530
Dual core 2.16GHZ
4GB ram
320GB HDD
256MB Nvidia 8600
1300$ after tax and ship

that looks good. much better than the POS vaio i bought a few months ago. i want an apple.

i had a dell inspiron laptop before this one and it was the biggest piece of junk ever. the XPS seem to get good reviews though. i had a dell desktop a few years ago and never had any issue to speak of.

yea i got a dell desktop now lol no problems just not portable and thats what im looking for...and i cant play crysis on my desktop

they just released a new dell MINI its pretty sweet and its free with some XPS laptop purchases...too bad i missed that special or that would be my car laptop lol

i have a dell desktop and i bought my mom a dell laptop a few years ago.....never had issues with either one. and my desktop is 7 yrs old.

sounds like you had the same desktop that i had. i think i bought it in 01. it was back when the flat panel monitors first came out. my ex has it now and it's also still doing fine.

mine is a dimension 8100. mine didnt come with a flat panel monitor though. i bought that a couple years later.

that's what i had!! an 8100. it was the best dimension out @ that time, right? i think there was a 7xxx series and a 6xxx series too.

haha! yeah, it was the highest series at that time. i have had no problems with it at all. its been the best computer. the only thing thats gone wrong in 7 yrs...and it just happened a couple months ago...is the fan inside the comuter died. so i just had to replace that.
