Do i believe that every living thing on the planet was created the way i see it now & nothing has changed... of course not; w/ the loss of genetic information throughout the course of time, what we are currently privy to is only a minuscule look @ any given species...!!
Genetic information has been lost through time, not created... mutated, not enhanced (do the research, even though i suspect you might know this already)!!
& what are these snapshots?? Carbon dating, fossilization, & the like??
i didnt say the seed evolved. i was using it as an example. you said you cant observe evolution in process. i was saying that you dont need to observe something during the whole process to know that the process took place.
You know I just have to say that I've had this type/sort of discussion with various individuals throughout my lifetime and I have to tip my hat to Neftumacallit. You have some of the best arguments I've ever heard from anyone regarding this subject and I've heard from all sorts. Now I finally know why you wear a hat and hide your face with scarves.

Here is what i don't get, how do people that subscribe to a theory that is based on the absence of a GOD believe in a GOD?? How can you believe in GOD but reject His truth??
Not to be extra, & you can take this as an opposition of thought (as an evolutionist, GOD is not the Word, the Truth, the Absolute), but the reason for this, this duality of conflicting belief is because GOD stated that He put innate knowledge of Himself in each of us... we all know He exists... we all believe in GOD... but we still choose to reject GOD based not on what He revealed to us, but based on what your peers (peers being man, taking lateral time out) think!!

Who is to say that God did not just create universe, this galaxy, and this Earth and placed all the necessary elements on this Earth to create life. I'm obviously not saying this is true, but its something that I think about. Like I said, its hard for me to explain exactly how I believe what I believe without writing a muli-page summary, but so far, its worked for me.

That is because he lays out how creation took place in the beginning of the Bible, all in the span of six days so we wouldn't be ill-informed & resort to coming up w/ ideas of our own that have no real scientific merit!!
