US softball team denied gold, loses 3-1 to Japan - Olympics - Yahoo! Sports


what a HUGE loss.

talk about dominating....here are some of their incredible stats:

this year they outscored their opponents 57-2 through eight games. the Americans batted .348, their opponents .054. they threw two no-hitters, a perfect game and gave up zero earned runs in 48 innings.

how could they lose!!

They weren't crushing the Japanese team. They had problems with the Japanese team for quite some time. The Japanese pitcher just did a number on the US gals all tournament long.
