I expect better than this from you UTR. It's because HK is an island and just in case you didn't know it's about the most crowded piece of land/space/dump in the world. Also, BeiJing is their capital so you'd figure they'd hold the games there. Not to mention there's lots of open space up north compared to coastal regions.

Whatever, i'm over the Olympics anyway... i can just google Dominique Dawes & Dominique Moceanu for my fix!!
I don't care where it's held really, unless they announce the next summer games is to be held on Ibiza or something...

Give this a shot guys.

US men vs China at 9AM CST live in HD.
I find that the major superpowers always hold an edge in these games, especially when we send pro athletes to these games. I think it takes away from spirit of the Olympics. Some of the events are exciting to watch though. I heard that they allowed BMX bikes riding in the games. WTH??? Is there a reason to hold a competition? Why don't they just give all the medals to Americans. I mean is there another country that does x-games stuff other than the US? Fair? Competitive? Come on...

I actually dont care for this stuff, but my family was watching the opening ceremony and it was one of the more incredible things I have ever seen. i just cant believe how they were able to get all of those people to perform so perfectly. It was especially great watching it in HD and with the sound system on blast.

easy, the government was "hosting" the games, it's a no-no to speak against the government, so they can't say no to doing it...

I hear that they're handing out knock off gold medals to everyone who participated in the opening ceremony. They're made in China.

He kicked ass, but so much of swimming seems to be swimming suit related now. Everyone are breaking world records, shattering them.

I call BS. there isn't a swim suit out there that's going to better a world record by a second or more.....at most, you're shaving milliseconds

I'd say it's the advancement in supplements. Today there are OTC supplements that yeild result close to that of roids.
