I think the Audi system biases almost all to the front until there is wheel spin, then sends some to the back, this all takes time.
that's not true at all. depending on the audi, it's generally 50/50. the s4 is something like 60/40 rear bias. quattro is pretty much the best AWD on the market. from what i remember, the S4 can send 75% of the power to a single wheel. you're thinking of incliment weather AWD like MB 4MATIC or BMW and Infiniti X systems. those do suck.
I thought I read that the quattro TT had a front bias?
the TT uses the same helical AWD system as the passat 4MOTION. it probably is front biased. the rest of the audi's use a completely different quattro system and it is generally 50/50.
Up until '08 Audi models they had the "non-sport" biased sysetms. Since this year and the new RS4/S4's they've implemented their new "sports" biased systems. From all the reviews they like it much much better.

In either case, for roughly mid to high $30k's I'd definitely consider the new upcoming TL for a daily driver. I've been in a few TL/TL S's and I thought that they were great. For the money, even better. I mean you get everything you could ever want in a car in a cheap package. Now that it looks to be more sporty and looks better I'm in.

have you fools seen the Maxima in person or on the road?!?!?!
it's badass.. and you can get it with stock 19's....
funny how a NISSAN is compared to an ACURA.
shouldnt it be NISSAN vs HONDA or INFINITI vs ACURA.
good job Nissan... that Maxima will sell like CRAZY.
Maxima's are pretty sweet cars.
Im not sure about that TL. It def. lost its "sleek-ness" from the last-gen.
