Have you ever seen a chick from the side or back and just thought, DAAAAAMN!
Then she turned and had that "bitter beer face" look.
That's the new Maxima...

The TL is gonna rock. It's pretty hard to beat the refinement of an Acura and since the TL is no slouch in terms of performance it should be a great lil car.

Good from far...
Far from good...
i.e. the feared buzz kill

The 4WD version should settle that though. Since they usually allow the 6MT option on the S models it should be great. Also, I've heard that they'll get the 3.5 V6 from the RL and put out about 300hp. That should really make things interesting.

the SH AWD is OK... though I'd rather a more performance oriented AWD, or better yet, RWD. is that too much to ask?!? unless they make AWD standard, i'm not sure how they're gonna put out more than 300 hp. the torque steer on that would be unmanagable i'd think.

I'm sure they thought of a way to control it. Plus the 4WD should help with torque steer. I mean if they can get the Evo or the STI to do it I'm sure they could do it with the new TL.

Isn't there some little blurb in the link about "controlling torque steer in 1st and 2nd" sounds like computer traction controlish...
The difference will be that the EVO and STI (and GT-R) are biased toward the rear. The TL will most likely be biased to the front, similar to Audi/Volkswagen and most anything domestic AWD (not including 4WD, there is a difference). So torque steer will still be there, albeit not as bad. I think the Audi system biases almost all to the front until there is wheel spin, then sends some to the back, this all takes time.
