what is it with so many people falling in love with this guy? I can't tell you the amount of people that have told me how Obama is going to be sooo positive for the country and how he will change the country for the better.

How do they know this? What are they basing their logic on? What worries me is... we know NOTHING about him, yet people are still willing to move mountains for Obama. Am I the only one that is a little skeptical about how truly great everyone portrays obama to be?

take this video for instance. I feel as if he's biting his lip throughout the whole press conference; and after the second minute, he's snickering and smirking as if he KNOWS he's lying.

With Obama we know he wants to raise taxes on investments, so there goes the earnings on your retirement accounts. He also wants government run healthcare for everyone, which sounds great, but look at how well medicare/medicaid is run.

At least with McCain we know what he stands for because he has a voting record going back for 20 some years. And for those who are worried about national security, he is willing to take the fight to them not wait for it to come here.

I hate both candidates for their views on global warming, which has apparently been renamed "climate change" since they have issues actually proving the globe is warming or cooling.

But I do like McCain for his strict views on government spending. He is among about 10 congressmen that have not voted for any earmarks, even for their own district. (Another one is Tom Coburn from OK) This part should be simple, if the average person does not have enough money they do not go to their boss and say "I having problems paying all my bills, GIVE ME MORE MONEY!" The same should be true for government, not enough money then spend less.

we know what we're getting in mccain, obama is full of empty promises. on the night he was officially deemed the dem. nominee, obama went on to talk about how he was going to fight for higher salaries for teachers... it's great to hear how he's now going to take on the duties of state governments .

I don't trust either Obama or McCain. I am quite stunned as Obama's handlers really led him into some boo boos against Hillary.

Obama is charasmatic and offers change, but I think he is awfully naive about a lot of issues and none more so than his foreign policy.

I think he could work wonders inside the US, but I have serious doubts about the damage he can do in the world even more so than Dubyah. I am concerned that he's willing to deal with Iran when they openly call for death to US citizens and are currently on track to expand their nuclear program.

Well I did not like it when he spoke degrading of small town Pennsylvanians clinging to guns & religion. These are rights guarenteed to us by our Constitution.

But that was one time he was expressing his true feelings. Look hoqw quick he dumped his own church when it started hurting him polictically.

I started being skeptical when he spoke of his Grandmother living "in a hut on Lake Victoria". After the SC Primary the Greenwood Index Journal printed a piece of his cousin speaking of how the gathering at their Grandmother's house watching the returns on bigscreen TV. This doesn't quite match up.
