lets say just a mix person. half white half black. when people see them and they are told the person is half black and white.
He's not half white/half black. He's 50% caucasion, 43.25% african arab and 6.75% african negro. His father was the last one in the branch of his family tree that could claim to have african negro ethnicity on a census report. If someone is going to base their campaign on the race card, shouldn't they at least be accurate?
The party lines have shifted left, Bush is even more a Democrat than a Republican. The Democrat party is more Socialist now, who knows how this will end!
Democrat, I would say more of a communist..... (Did I say that out loud???)
Time to stir the pot some... Obama isn't legally black in so far as how the US determines it based upon your geneology. He's only 6.75% black, his nearest negro-african relative (how Kenya terms it on birth certificates) was his fathers great, great grandmother (or it may be his great great grandmother, can't recall right now). His father's birth certificate in Kenya lists him as an arab-africa, which would make Obama Jr. an arab-american if you're concerned about hyphenating people rather than just being an AMERICAN.
Can't say I care much about his ethnic background (his ideas and actions while senator are what concern me), but why make almost no mention of 43% of his ethnicity while talking up a portion so minor he can't legally claim it on the census?
I guess your right, but again, I like to keep it simple....

Yea I forgot Obamas campaign slogan was "Vote for me cause im Black"
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure he's not basing his campaign on the race card. I think its mostly based on improving our country by changing the current failing policies from the Bush administration.
Now as a younger voter I land in the middle of liberal and conservative. I don't really swing to any one direction. I loved McCain 5-8 years ago but he really did sell his soul to the Bush administration for their endorsement. No one can really argue that the current presidents policies are working because its been proven they are not. I mean the war, the economy, gas prices...
Anyway, I really hate the fact that this post is about Obama and how people feel about him, and reading a lot of these posts its been about race.
I'd love for a McCain supporter to give me a list of reasons why they disagree with his specific policies and why McCains would be better.
