I'm half a step away from buying it. Considering a base of $2,500 for the 93, $200 for the bipod, $200 for the extendible stock, $100 for the bayonet, + mags, +slings, +manuals........it's worth the cost. Basically getting a free set of accessories.

Don't know too much on the HK93, but it looks nice and clean in those pictures. If you've not made a decision by the 20th I'll take a closer look at the pics when I'm back from Dallas. I know I'm spoiled from the internet connections I've had at work over the years but this hotel's idea of "high speed" and mine differ.

You shoot it. In military form it's a 5.56 NATO rifle, the HK equivalent of the M4 (shortie M16) and the equivalent of the AK47. In civie form it's a semi auto only rifle (unless you are lucky enough to live in a Class 3 state and can afford a transferable sear).
Anyhow it's much lighter than the big brother, the G3/HK91 which fires the 7.62 NATO round. Unless you are a goon like Zooms, I find it hard to stand and fire the HK91 for distance........so at a 100 yards I'm more than likely to miss shooting off hand with a 91 whereas with an AR-15 (civie M4) I can hit man sized targets at 200 yards.
Anyhow it's probably the last in the 9X series HK rifles that I would buy. It's nice little rifle, very dependable like an AK, but damn that sucker gets pig sty dirty on the inside (just like neft's underwear).

Damn, that's a nice gun. Even if you don't shoot it and just hold onto it the value will increase. It's very rare.
.223 would be nice to shoot too.
I dunno, you already have a .223 already so I would ask, why get another unless you're looking to keep it tucked away and show off every once in a while.

coolness....so you're just using it for sport to shoot at targets...
