excellent point.. and I had just slowed down before he got me. Route 8 coming off 15 in Bridgeportyou know it right? When it splits to like a thousand lanes wide? Too tempting we used to murder than stretch on the bikes! I've learned my lesson I'm slow from here on out..

It is an x50. Bottom line is I was diving too fast, and was being lazy and sloppy about it. I don't blame the radar for getting pulled over i did that all by myself. All I'm saying is for 300 bucks she coulda whistled at me a little! Is that too much to ask???

+1 .... People often underestimate the usefulness of doing this. I used to have a very long commute (110 miles rt) and, over the 5 years I drove it, racked up 7 tickets...fought them all, and got 4 of them dropped for a no-show by the cop, and one other dropped from 2 points to 1....so, all in all, I was 5 for 7. Add a couple of traffic schools, and my record stayed clean.

That's the thing he didn't give me a ticket! He congratulated me on my degree and I was off in less than 3 minutes! He probably knew the grad ceremony was only another two exits up and I told him I was 30 mins late already. Guy just cut me a break didn't want me to miss the event. I'm just thankful because that was a 'go directly to jail and do not pass go' type of ticket!

Now next week on the other hand, I have to court for the last passport mishap..

^^ Yeah, you definitely lucked out on that one. My wife once got pulled over on Christmas day, (racing to a relative's house) doing 105 mph and got off with only a warning. I have never been so fortunate.

just try not speeding....thats the easiest way to avoid a ticket. or try not going so much over the speed limit. at 106 you were probably in the neighborhood of 50mph over the speed limit.
