the swirls man.. they're inevitable. i was so careful with my car yet ended up with a bunch. pain to keep clean.
btw if u get 6MT make sure u do the CDV mod... the clutch delay valve, it'll make the car much smoother, but then if u drive a 6mt G35 the 335 will be like butter

thanks. i havent heard of that mod yet. i still go back and forth between which piggyback to get. but i wont worry about that until after i have the car...

2 choices: vishnu procede or JuiceBox2. PROcede V3 is sick, so is JB2, but in any case make sure youre not boosting anything over 13-15 psi, bmw's small turbo's cant handle more. im starting to see some failed turbo cases now. the cost is 11-15k (engine + turbos).
there's Dinan flash which yields less outcome than those 2, but matches BMW warranty

The $20 CDV mod is probabaly the best overall mod for any MT bimmer around. I don't know why engineers at Bimmer felt that all MT drivers need an aid to allow them to drive smooth. It actually works in reverse and makes experienced MT drivers drive worse as the CDV makes the clutch a bit jerky, but like you said Mantis, even at that it's night and day better than any G clutch.

i've come to appreciate the G's clutch much more now after driving a GT3 and the M3. the 335 is just smooth and allows bigger room for error.
i wonder if nissan's every gonna introduce a 6mt on GT-R. i wonder how that would feel haha
I doubt it. Plus if they were going to offer it they'd have said so and had it in the design phase. As it is now, they'd have to reverse engineer a 6MT. Something like what they did with the M5 due to public pressure and we know how that turned out.

PROcede V3 was debuted at Bimmerfest 08 on saturday. Shiv came and installed 5 of them himself. this is all you need: chip, aero lip, and if u want wheels/coilovers.
