Hello All ..moving on to Caddy but son will be G35ing
I have enjoyed my G35 coupe and the friendships here for almost 4 years. But my 'middle age crisis' is calling and I went ahead and got a Caddy XLR last night. A great deal on a great car and as much fun to drive (OK a bit more) than the G. Son is turning 16 and will inherit the G soon
.
all is well,
K

Post pics of your new ride when you get a chance. And your 16 year old should not get a car that nice. He should get a hooptie to build character and scratch and bump, etc. etc.
Thanks all, I'll post pics soon (need to take some). The XLR does not perform to the level of the vette (has a Northstar) but the car is very light and really flies. I drove some vette's but I wanted a bit more luxury for my daily 3 hrs on the road. The XLR also has way more amenities than I'll likely ever use and every power feature known to the automotive world. It does pretty much everything but brush my teeth and give me 'oral pleasures'
And keeping the G lets me still enjoy it as well.

If a car doesn't brush my teeth for me I just don't buy it..
Very nice. Congrats on the new car. I know the styling is polarizing, but I've personally liked it ever since it came out. My friend's dad bought one like a month ago and I heard they're selling these at incredible deals. Enjoy your new ride.
I hope you stick around like I do even though you don't drive your G anymore.
