Not bad 7fiddy. It's a quartz I'm assuming from the chorograph pusher.
Yes, Seiko's are great watches, no matter their price. If you really want to check out some of the better offerings from Seiko you have to look to the models not offered in the states. Take a look at this site:
Higuchi san is an awsome dude and has the "best" customer service around. His English ins't the best, but he'll treat you right. I've ordered from him several times and I've always been more than pleased. One thing to consider, non-US models can't be serviced here in the states and so you have to either contact Higuchi san directly for help or contact Seiko International in NJ for service, but with the prices of most Seiko's you can just throw it away and buy a new one, but since Seiko's run like champs you really don't ever have to worry about servicing.
SA makes watches too, some are ok. They've been trying to get in on the growing auto watch market with higher priced models, but IMHO I don't like them too much. I'd much rather have a Seiko.

These are nice watches to me. way out of my price range but nice to look at. I saw a similar one for a fraction of the price wit the brown face and all.. maybe a swiss army? Been trying to find it for a while. Any of you watch aficionados recognize it?

The LV Tombor diver. Very controversial within the "watch" community. I almost pulled the trigger on one when they first came out. Thought they looked the business, but my friends convinced me otherwise. There are some that feel LV watches are poser watches, but on paper it's a "true" divers' watch with the capability and depth rating to go with it. The only one's I've ever seen on wrists were in the Beverly Hills/Hollywood areas where the guys wearing them wouldn't know how to dive in their bath tubs. If it floats your boat though...

If I was to buy a watch like this it would be strictly for fashion.. where the hell am I diving in CT? I just like the look of it. I saw it or one like it over a year ago in a GQ and never forgot it. That being said, I wouldn't spend 7 grand on a watch if I'm not in need of the functionality that makes it worth 7 grand. Which is why I was looking for the reasonable priced one that has a near identical style. I still think it was a swiss army but I can't locate it

yah! that is exactly the style i like. unique and classy. something that makes you look twice when you see it.
i like rolex, but (atleast around here) they are so common. i dont even notice a rolex anymore unless it's pointed out to me. as far as a quality watch, it's great. but the styling just doesnt do it for me.
same goes for swiss army. nice looking watches, but they look like everything else out there. i understand that's what some people like and im not bashing that at all. just not my thing.
Thanks. But there's no way in hell I'd spend more than $300 for a watch.
My friend has a connect for Swiss replicas for $250.
Dizzy=Stoked
don't get a replica anything.. when it comes to watches, clothes or whatever you are better off getting something less expensive and authentic at whatever it claims to be than a knock off whatchamacallit

Aww man no you didn't!!! No replicas man. The last time I was at a bar this Gomer comes up and asks about my PAM. He then rudely asks to see it off my wrist. I said no and thought, "umm no you a**hole, like I'm supposed to hand over a $8k watch over to a perfect stranger". He then accuses me of wearing a fake!!! I almost knocked that fool out, until I realized he was wearing a complete fake. A bad one at that. A good risti can usually tell the signs. So I told the Gomer that he should at least be wearing a gen before accusing someone of wearing a fake.
