chewing sugarless gum after a meal certainly helps. one, it stimulates salivary flow and saliva acts as a buffer neutralizing food acids. two, it sticks to food particles left on the grooves and pits on the biting surfaces of your teeth. however, all bets are off on the food particles that are in between your gums...that will need to be flossed out. bottom line, it can't hurt.

Congrats on the quitting. I've been smoke free for a little over a year now but the smell of cigarettes are still sweet, but I'd never go back to that bitch again. I used the gum to quit, I didn't really believe that hypnosis worked for this but I guess you're a example Dizz.

Leon, Dizz doesn't use chewing gum, he uses suppository gum.

Congrats on kicking the habit. It can be tough.

For the past couple of years I only smoke when I'm out drinking. It helps.

That's what I thought. I've been chewing gum after all the lollipops that I've consumed.

Whenever and where ever. You still in Northpark?

What's crackin' J-boy. Congrats on quitting. I tried the gum but it didn't help because my body was still getting nicotine. I knew if I could get past the withdrawals(physical) I'd be set. But hypnosis will only work if you let it. I'm not a very suggestable person but I was running out of options on how to become a non smoker again.

It was, but I'll swear by it, the hypnosis works.
As for drinking, I don't so I don't have to worry about that. But when I did, I could burn through a pack in an hour.

Dizz didn't go to a hypnotist, he got drunk and has been passed out for two weeks, that's why he hasn't lit up yet.
