i find a lot of information missing from this video. it never says anyone lost their job... so basically their homes were foreclosed on and now they are homeless? does CA not have apartments and rental homes? what about homeless shelters? none??

Well, we are in a recession, but you know what, this shit really pisses me off. "Oh, boohoo, I'm a primadonna who didn't even bother to read my mortgage contract, because after all, I can't be held accountable for my own actions, and after the ARM rate went up (just like it said it would in that big old mean mortgage contract that I couldn't be bothered to read because I'm too fucking lazy) now I can't pay my mortgage, so won't somebody please bail me out?" WTF is wrong with our society? I simply have no empathy for people like this.
And then government wants to "help" these jackasses out? People will never learn. All this does is teach people that you can do whatever the fuck you want because someone will always bail your dumbass out.
Where's the accountability? Too bad they're breeding too. Their children are going to grow up believing that they don't have to be held to any standard of accountability either.
On a side note, I can't sell my house now because there are so many foreclosed homes flooding the market. Yep, I make all my mortgage payments on time, but I will have to wait another couple of years before I even think about putting my house on the market, so where's my free handout?

See i look at it the opposite way... i don't think those loans should even be available... for the most part... or if they are.. it shoudl be a law that it be disclosed on a seperate sheet in big bold letters... read aloud and signed.
is it impossible that some people may have been dishonest during the process and at closing?

yah but come on. the point that Mocumentary is trying to get across is that everyone in america is defaulting on their mortgages and are now living in tents out in the woods. did ANY of those people really look or act like they were EVER home owners?
there was the one guy that took the news crew to his old house... but again, info is missing. many, many people have had their homes foreclosed upon throughout the past century. not many of them began living outdoors in tents.
I have two homes too. One is the spacious box under the bridge by the old train tracks. The other is a beautiful foxhole that I dug out using an empty coke bottle located in the rolling hills and backwoods of CT. I figured, I have the coke bottle and I can afford to not collect the $.05 deposit so why no just dig myself a second 'vacation' home.
Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual.
