Okay, you folks know about the tornado's that hit Atlanta, here is my story.
I am watching the TV as the storms roll through, tornado's hit just south and north of my house, within a couple of miles. I keep watching the TV keeping eye on the radar planning my trip to the basement. Now they show some real bad stuff real close to my house, I go out on the back deck to look at the sky and yes it's green. Now the hail starts failing, the stuff is about 1-2 inches across. I tell my wife to get to the basement and she says Marty just ran out the back door. He is my 35 pound Boston Terrier and he loves playing with balls. He is trying to catch the hail as it hits the ground. I have to run out and get him in the house so he does not get killed. Only took me a couple of seconds, but it seemed like a long time. That part of the storm passed over with no damage to my place except for maybe my roof of my house.

you're real lucky Gard that everything went over so smoothly. there was a lot of damage from what i saw on TV. it looked like something out of the day after tomorrow.
And I'm watching the news that night and in front of one of the hotels or the CNN Center sits a white G-35 coupe that was beat to hell from flying debris.
They kept showing the same tape over and over and this poor G was on my tube half the night.
I wondered if the owner was part of this group but I doubt it or they would have posted something.
My truck was outside, it's too big to fit in my garage, but my xB and Audi A3 were in the garage. I parked my truck close to my house in a way to protect it from the hail, the winds blow the strongest east to west during most storms.
I think my truck did okay, but I have not looked at it dry to see if it is dinged up.

Gard if you installed that monster turbo in the Xb like you were supposed to, you could have just sucked the tornado down into the engine..........major fail........
glad you're ok
