BINGO!
Yet another reason why I have my concealed carry permit!

Don't know if it's the case in this instance, but a lot of the people that go on shooting sprees are on or are recently off anti-depressants/anti-psychotics. What's a common and little mentioned side effect of most drugs in those classes? Increased suicidal tendencies.

Another updated story link:
The Associated Press

What kind of meds was this guy on? The article is titled "NIU gunman stopped taking medication" but they never say what he was being treated for or what he was taking! I hate "journalists."

BTW the pic in the article........the dude is pretty creepy looking. He looks like a pre-op tranny.

Ugh, so I turn on ESPNRadio on my way back from lunch to I don't know hear about sports. Nope they're talking about the NIU shooting and calling out for the presidential candidates to 'do something about the gun situation in the United States', going on about how the guy was able to just 'walk into a store and buy the guns last week', and can't forget the generalized handguns are evil. Guess they didn't bother to read where the guy used a SHOTGUN.

If your job is to talk about sports, talk about sports. Unless you're talking about sporting clays or olympic shooting events don't talk about guns. Hell even then don't do it unless you actually know the most basic difference between a handgun and a long gun.

Going by ESPNRadio.com's schedule it'd be the Mike Tirico show. Didn't really sound like Tirico's voice though. Didn't listen for long though as the stupidity and ignorance was too much.

No CCP here in CA, but that's why I carry a ball pien hammer with me everywhere I go. It's legal even if you carry it concealed.

Well you can technically in theory (theory as in evolution, often talked about rarely seen) you can get a concealed carry permit in Cali. In reality it's easier to hire body guards.

So you know Big D/Musttaffa/Tyronne at the Slauson swap meet too? I didn't know their names got so far east.

I prefer Bubba/Dwight/Earl's services. Seems to freak people out more when they have to wonder if they'll end up being dinner.
