^^^Sure can man, sure can. But you're in college, you don't realize it but you're supposed to be broke and your parents are still supposed to support you somewhat. In any case, glad to see you doing what you can.

i do the exact same, although sometimes i get lucky and I'm able to fall asleep just as I'm getting one. so i might actually get to sleep through the average 6 hours a migraine lasts (for me).

^^^shit, you are lucky. i used to get them a lot worse when I was a teenager. i'd get them right over my right side lobe. right above my brow, typically in the early morning. once i got it, there was no way to shake it, it would get worse and worse and always lead to vomiting. sometimes i'd puke twice, sometimes i'd puke six or seven times. aspirin or tylenol would only aggravate me and make me feel worse. one time, it was so sever, i actually had temporary blindness. not kidding. it only lasted for a few minutes, but i could not see anything!!! since i've grown older, i haven't had them as much. but it's entirely random, always over my right eyebrow and i have to stick a cold patch on my brow and stay in the dark and wait to puke.

I used to get those headaches too. Comes out of nowhere and they'd just floor me for hours at a time. Sometimes I couldn't walk or drive and just shut me down. I even had it sporadically last year, up until this year!!!

You know what worked gamma? Go get yourself a Asian model humidifier. Don't get the US made ones they suck. Seems the Asian models, especially Korean or Japanese made, work much better than US built ones and they are designed and built much better too. This is from having owned several different brands makes, etc. I use it every night and have it going all night long. When I awake I just feel better and haven't had any of those migranes for a year or more. I'm not sure if that's what did it, but that's the only thing I've changed and it's working. I suggest you try it. Doctors were idiots and could never figure things out. They just kept shrugging their shoulders or throwing all sorts anti-biotics at me. Never worked!

It might work better if you stick the head above the neck inside the freezer instead of the one inside the pants.........

And I was jus sayin.. things can worse for everyone.. the ones that can hang in there n keep their heads up while remaining determined to get out are the ones i admire.

that's pretty similar to my migraines. although i tend to feel the pain the most up into my eye socket. it feels good to apply pressure on that spot with a finger. constant throbbing and nausea that lasts for hours. just like you said though, once you get it, there's no way to stop it.

i take excedrin migraine for whenever i even think i might be getting one. that usually clears up the problem, if i catch it on time. yeah it is completely random, sometimes i get them in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes I even wake up and I have one. it's horrible...

never had any blindness though, hope it never gets to that point.

I have had migraines before. I actually had them in High School alot. When I get them they are painful right behind my eyes and I see spots/tracers (kinda like after you get you picture taken and you keep seeing the flash). Sometimes there are so many spots that I can't see a thing. It sucks when I get one when I am driving because I have to pull right over and wait it out...Usually I get them when I am stressed or I have had very little sleep although those are not the only times I will get them. The only thing that works to make them go away is sleeping in a dark room for a little bit....*knock on wood* I haven't had one in prob close to a year...

^^^ The symptoms you're referring to is called Vertigo zero. If it get's bad enough that you have to pull over while driving means that you should have never gotten off the short bus. You're dangering people on the road. Stick to the deck of your pirate ship.

I feel ya Gamme. I was in the lending industry for a minute and you know what happened with that. Now I'm looking in to government jobs to get a stable job. All the listings I qualify for are desk jobs and look pretty boring but hey it's a stable martket right? I might try to see if the civilian sector has anything interesting.

Why do I need to do that Phelan? Obviously Gamma sent his picture in.......with his haircut I have no problem believing that the guy thought he was a chick.
