Saw a press release about it earlier, a lot of people are down on Bushmaster making it. Mainly questioning the quality of the end product.

Yeah I thought about that too. I'm not really sure if Bushmaster builds more tolerance into its AR's or not. I would think it would be really easy to tighten up tolerances if Magpul wants to.

Hey do you guys put nails onto the tip of bats and stuff like that too? Because I've been known to make one helluva bushwacker.

I find it's better to use broken glass Zooms. Nails through the bat can seriously affect the bat's balance, weight and strength. Glass shards are free to detach and embed themselves in the attacker.

Nah glass doesn't look as good as huge nails looking like a porcupine at the tip of your slugger. Plus with nails you pull out chunks of skin/bone when you go nuts.

True you way has better gouging, but my glass shards could be all but impossible to remove.

Interesting link. It reminds me of the Steyr AUG. I'll definitely take one of those please

2 US companies are making AUG clones, haven't seen any range reports of them though.

^^^If I had my choice (and liberty) to pick up an assault rifle, I'd get a Steyr AUG.

The design has never really appealed to me and the pricing of the clones (last I saw was in the 2K area w/o any markup) there's other options I'd rather go with. But having variety is a good thing!

I'm into the bul-pup design and the integrated scope. I also like the magazine design and the way you can interchange the barrels (short or longer barrels).
