damn, you take care of your teeth pretty good Zero. I brush regularly and for long periods but I don't floss much (borderline never). for 3 to 4 years I didn't have a dental package when I was living in L.A. and when I finally did, my dentist spent hours on me using leverage to take out deep rooted plaque. luckily for me she was a sweet lady and had a good nurturing quality about her.

since i moved from L.A., i haven't seen a dentist, but I've scheduled an appointment with a dentist in Tijuana. I don't have medical insurance, so I'll just go south for some good dentistry.

if you're covered, you might as well go....unless of course you just hate going period. insurance pays for 2 visits a year. if they find any problems, thats a different story.

... hate the dentist!!
Not much problems except from the occasional cavity (damn sweet tooth'll get ya)... & now i have to do something about my left front tooth, i fell & broke it when i was 8, & since then had caps on the broken section... but now she's dying, losing color... dentist recommends a veneer, but i'm fighting 'cuz i'm like it's my tooth & i'll keep her until i die, don't want any false teeth, worst sh*t ever, but still some... ok, now i'm rambling, but that is my issue!!

It might be the gum that helps prevent some tarter from building up...My teeth are pretty straight too so I don't know if that helps at all...I just need to step up my flossing....

my brother and sister never had dental insurance and they just paid for veneers.

$20,000 to $30,000 each

fawwwccck, i couldn't believe it. i'm so glad i had dental insurance as a kid. but at least they have great looking teeth now with no worry of cavities.

veneers are sick! They grind your teeth down to little stubs and then put the veneers over the stubs!
