Too ated- to remember the rest
So it doesn't matter the brand name of the HDMI cable eh? They all do the same thing?

Cool. I'll get one today.

Thanks for the delayed response.

seriously, best buy's service is horrible. i went there for a DVD player and i couldn't find the one I was looking for (saw it on their website). well after i waited around for 15 minutes i finally got a guys attention who showed me where it was. then i noticed the listed price was $10.00 more than the website showed so I asked and he was like "let me go check for you".

well he literally walked directly from me to another customer and started helping him! i gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited 10 minutes thinking maybe he was multi-tasking... but nothing!

so i just bought the f*cking dvd player at $10 over what it should have been. i won't go back there for anything but CDs and DVDs.

i have also heard that brand name makes no difference. mine cost like $9.99 off some website like tigerdirect or newegg. works perfect, picture is great.

you're right, ever go to the market or Wal-mart lately . . . self-checkout. You don't even need to interact with another human being anymore except to return items.

i'm sorry but i like the self checkout. i can scan, pay and bag my stuff faster than the cashier. i might be putting a high schooler out of a job, but i am keeping the grocery prices down and helping create jobs in the high paying technology sector.

just buy the cheapest HDMI cable you can find... for your needs, that is fine.
again, it's a digital transfer, not analog.

thats one way to look at it. id debate with you but to a moot point.

another way is to think that some people dont have enough education and need jobs like that to get by. or watever their circumstance is. but i also argue for people to get off their asses and work hard for a better situation.

so like i said moot.

you are still buying the same amount of cables... (to go into the switcher).. actually, an extra cable to go out of it.
plus the unit will be probably $80-$100...

it's what you would use if you have more sources using HDMI than you have to put into the tv or receiver, etc.
