Well I've never used a Visio personally, but I see them rated better than the majority of their competition regularly in my PC Magazine, which is pretty good at rating consumer electronics.

does anyone know if the wal mart visios are any good? i always thought that visio was crap cause wally world sells them cheap. after seeing this thread i researched and from what i can tell they are OK... but the thing is, sometimes wal mart buys the bottom of the barrel crap, so even if it's a decent brand, it's not the same.
i'd like to get a bigger TV for the living room and put my 42" in my room...
I went to Best Buy today to pick up a set of headphones for my ipod and I was attacked by 3 employees trying to help me. One even walked me to the headphone section across the store from where I was. When we got to the section he started telling me the major differences between the $9 and the $12 earbuds. WTF???...He wouldn't leave me alone!
I think that Best Buy mgmt has been reading this thread and have adjusted their sales strategy...
