from what i can tell, there are fans in the front and rear that make it 'hover' and there is a (missing) jet engine in the back that makes it fly. notice how small the wings are? the fans would constantly be ON to keep the craft in the air, as it would not maintain leverage without them, even if it were traveling at a high rate of speed. in the listing it says he has gotten it to 10 ft. but then it starts feeling shakey. i assume that you are supposed to only lift off the ground a little bit, then the jet engine would come into play and it would 'fly'.

the 'wings' would keep it stable if it were flying fast enough, so you could go higher. the wings would not keep it in the air like a traditional jet though, the fans would... so it is in actuality a hybrid jet/helicopter.
