..........The faux pistol grip is the worst part. Grip angle is ruined, probably can't grip as securely (definitely no carrying by it!), and I would suspect operation of the charging handle isn't as easily done.
That's a Kalifornia pistol grip. I've seen them before, it's to help comply with CA's bs firearms rules.
BTW we all know that this is gammawolf's gun, how did you get pics of it iron?

Ah, I've no experience with Commiefornia's neutered guns thankfully.
BTW, did you hear that San Fran's gun ban got shot down as unconstitutional AGAIN? The city is going to appeal the ruling to the Kali supreme court now.

gun laws suck in the U.S., but why is it that we always have a bunch of yahoos that need to go on a shooting spree and kill themselves? it's a freakin' epidemic. something is wrong with our psychology.
only place i'd move to and gladly not worry about guns is Amsterdam. their entire homicide rate was like 2 for a whole year. just 2. see what happens when drugs are tolerated and prostitution is legal?

Does make you wonder, back before there was a pill for everything that ailed you; there wasn't such a prevalence to run out and shoot up a crowd of people. The mind and how it operates is still poorly understood, yet there's all these products on the market that attempt to alter it...

Last week, the Associated Press reported that Colorado church shooter Matthew Murray had been taking antidepressants. The same is true for Omaha mall shooter Robert Hawkins, recent Finland school shooter Pekka-Eric Auvinen, Jeff Weise of Minnesota, Columbine's Eric Harris, and virtually every other school/mall/church/college mass murderer. We never saw these types of shootings before Prozac came out in 1988, and antidepressants now all have FDA-mandated black-box labels warning that they can cause suicide and violent actions.
Some say these shootings occurred because the killers were mentally ill. Yet people have suffered mental illness for centuries and there is no regular reported pattern of them committing mass murder before 1988. Others feel it is a gun issue. Certainly guns are a convenient weapon of choice. However, women reacting to antidepressants often use a knife, arson, or drowning, and the targets are usually their children. Andrea Yates was on Effexor when she killed her kids. If we look beyond school shootings, we see a consistent and recurring pattern of violence caused by people on antidepressants.
The relationship between antidepressants and violent, suicidal thoughts was mentioned in "Emergence of Intense Suicidal Preoccupation During Fluoxetine Treatment,"a study on Prozac by Martin Teicher published in 1990 in the American Journal of Psychiatry. "Six depressed patients free of recent serious suicidal ideation developed intense, violent suicidal preoccupation after two to seven weeks of fluoxetine treatment. This state persisted for as little as three days to as long as three months after discontinuation of fluoxetine. None of these patients had ever experienced a similar state during treatment with any other psychotropic drug."

So basically what we should do is gather up all these Gomers and send them off to Survivor island and give them plenty of antideprresent drugs and weapons. They should take care fo themselves the rest of the way?

that doesn't explain Charles Whitman in 1966 at the University of Austin, Texas or to a further extent, Lee Harvey Oswald in 1963. They weren't on anti-depressants, they were just nuts. Although Oswald didn't go on a mass shooting spree, his actions were just as heinous.
Believe me, it's not anti-depressants that's doing it. There is something else. Probably a whole lot of reasons, but it seems as though it is more prevalent in the U.S. than in any other country in the world. Only in times of warfare is there such a higher rate of mass murder. Warfare. That makes somewhat sense. But kids or adults going nuts and going "postal." Shit, that's as American as apple pie. Mass murder - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gotta be a reason why we are so sick in the head. Definitely a combination of things.
What's more American than a dude going on top of a Mcky D's and shooting fat people who are probably gonna die soon of heart diseas anyway. Maybe he was trying to make a statement? Hell if he was wearing a GM/Chevy/Ford t-shirt it would have been icing on the cake.

Well I didn't mean it to be funny in that sense. Yeah, innocent people dying is never funny. Unless of course, it's one of them dumb kids doing wrestling moves on youtube.

It certainly doesn't explain every case, but it makes one think (it does me at least) especially now that the drug companies are acknowledging that their 'safe' psychotropic drugs cause an increase in suicidal and violent tendencies during the first several months of use.
There has definitely been a change in mindset. Used to be you felt someone wronged you, you just went after that particular person(s); now it's all "lets take out as many as possible and make the news".
