wow, that is wild. Crazy weather all over the place.....all that rain and flooding up in the Pac North west and HUGE 50 foot surf hitting the Nor Cal coastline (from a Louisville newspaper of all things):

^ yeah wow....

what i've been hearing... is the fact that it's supposed to be a "warmer winter"... it's going to make for more storms, more snow storms, and more wild weather basically everywhere....
when you have cold air pushing against warm air.. there is always a battle.. one or the other wins... but it creates weird weather things and not just where it's happening.. it effects the entire globe.

GZ is not real anyway. So there is nothing to worry about.

Wednesday night was pretty nuts. Extremely windy (from the wrong direction) and wet. Had to mop up my house (on Oahu) as the rain got past the windows.

System blew through Kauai and is expected to stall over the Big Island. It's been sunny, hard rain, sunny, hard rain for the past several days.

From what I heard the weather really kicked up on Maui at Kahului Harbor where I worked. Got a photo sent to me and it was nuts since the pier section we put in was under water........the deck was something like 8'-10' above mean sea level. Apparently the waves were so big they crashed over the revetment wall and went right across the pier deck.
