I think they actually made a little bit of them. I think like maybe 2 GTR's will be sent to only "exclusive" Nissan Dealerships. I'll be surprised to see 1 during the first few months of production.
Well I read a lenghty article from one of the major pubs and the designer of the GT-R said that they're planning to produce and sell a high number of GT-R's. That's what I was referring to.
On a side note, my buddy who bought that Z06 less than a year ago tells me that other than fairly short jaunts around the block the Z06 is unbearable, espeically if you drive on bad roads or on long fwy stretches. So the Z06 may be a better 1/4 car, but I'm willing to bet that the creature comforts provided by the new GT-R will outweigh the slight 1/4 advantage.

.............I was reading an article about how nissan overpriced this car and it won't sell, but what about Honda selling their NSX for 15 years at the same price? Those cars sell like cupcakes............
The article you read is misleading and wrong.
The NSX when it first came out was not priced as it is now. The minor cosmetic changes that were made did nothing for the NSX, but Honda jacked the price up to $90k!!!!
The NSXs selling like cupcakes are those that were earlier models, not the newer late model NSXs.
As far as overpricing the car, only time will tell about that, but it has a lot of tech packed into it and tuning by some of the finest companies in the world in Lotus and Cosworth.
