Pit bulls have a bad name. It's the owner's lack of training and control that give the dogs a bad rep. It's BS I tell you. Hell you want a dog with a bad attitude, it's a weiner dog. The sex offendor, that's the poodle.

i have a full grown pit. shes not scary though. well she has a scary bark. but not all pits are the scary crazy looking ones you see on TV. actually most of those are not even pits... they are some kind of cross bred mixture mutt.
thats very true, i agree with that. but the ones that are full breeds tend to be very, very aggressive. (at least the ones i've seen)
its tough to tell what is a real pit and what is not. but any 'pit' that weighs more than 50 pounds is very likely NOT a true pit bull. a lot of ghetto-*ss breeders will mix in rotties and other aggressive dogs to make the dog bigger and meaner.
plus unfortunately a lot of pit bull owners are complete dumbasses and don't know how to raise a dog. just like a kid that has a screwed up childhood - they're pretty much doomed.

yeah but you forget that the pitbull was trained to be a fighting machine. most pitbulls i've seen are dangerously territorial.

yes she is pure pit. a friend of mine is a breeder who i got her from. her dad looks like a big scary pit but her mom looks just like her. females tend to be more petite anyhow. plus i refused to get her ears clipped. but he's not the ghetto type breeder that just breed blood lines together to get the biggest pit possible. she has very good blood lines (chinaman/eli bolio) and is a great dog.

They are bred to be something Smoke. You can train most dogs to act a certain way. I've seen pits go both ways, really aggressive or really passive.
Shoot my uncle raised a pit for pig hunting, that sucker was mean, but it was trained so. You raise a dog correctly from the start and I don't think you get a lot of these issues.

my cousin has had nothing but pitbulls for the past 10 years, he had a female a few years ago that passed away from parvo, but anyway, she looked completely different from your dog.
smoke, if trained properly they will know the difference between friend and foe. she will scare the hell out of strangers and tried to kill this chiauhiauh when my ex first got him (used to live with me) but once i let her know he was OK they became best buds.
