i liked the idea behind i am legend. i just wish they went in another direction besides the crazy vampire zombies. that part of it just seemed too far fetched.

I didn't think it was any crazier than other vampire zombie movies. Plus they just followed the book....

Well I have watched it a few more times and I stay with my first reaction of liking it. The only thing that I kinda didn't like was the length of the movie. It was only like and hour and a half. It needed to be a 2 hour or 2 1/2 hour runtime. Just felt they could have developed the whole being alone thing a little bit longer to give us a better feel.
I too saw the cloverfield preview and it definitely looks interesting. Not sure how I feel about the whole first person camera thing. It looks like the movie will be shot in its entirety with that view. Seems kinda blairwitch to me. I will give it a shot though
