@msb: who cares if Jack died in the sea or the toilet. I didn't see her jump in after his ass or even try to pull his ass up to the plank to save him. So a mere jesture of throwing a valuable piece of jewerly justifies him dying??? You lost me...
@14McNuggets: who the hell cares if somebody she didn't like gave it to her. She knows there are lots of peole working hard to find it and that it's crazy expensive. She's gonna kick the bucket, why deprive others from fortune and fame. Seemed more like she didn't want anybody else to benefit from it. Selfish b1tch!

it was symbolic to her of a life she hated and ran from. jack helped her escape from that life. she threw it in the ocean to give it back to the life she left there on titanic.
