I just saw it last night. I really liked the movie. It thought it was pretty cool. I rented it so I'm going to go buy the blu-ray version.

if you remember, not everyone in the world became these darkseekers. only a small portion....the people that didnt become them, died. so there wouldnt be that many of them in NYC to occupy every building. if you look at the scenes of them attacking Will, if you say there were maybe a thousand of them, that wouldnt be a lot to spread over the whole city.....which normally has what, like 8-9 million people?

99% became infected, aka- DarkSeekers.... the majority of the immune were eaten by the DarkSeekers. I don't think the DarkSeekers eat their own "kind" tho.

he doesnt kill himself is the jist of it. he realizes that the girl darkseeker that he is testing on is the "girlfriend" of the head darkseeker....and he wants her back. so will gives her back to him and they leave. its to show that they do in fact still have human traits to them....like love......unlike what he previously believed. then will, the girl and kid, take off to vermont.
