The 1.08 might reflect that Pam Anderson dumped Kid Rock.

i was just talking to my mom. Since she is widowed and both of her sons are in school or are going to be in the fall, she wants to move into a condo.
Anyway, i told her to list the house in Euro's or CAD's. I think that is an excellent idea.

First, it's a correction not a crash superH. Get it right! You're scaring the little people.
I usually don't play the FX field but a few futures I bought paid off rather handsomely today.
I think the analysts are right in saying that the best time to buy a house will be around 3 to 4th quarter of '08.

That'll really screw up my GT-R plans. Damn.

Well you can live in your GT-R till you can get that house. Should work for you since you usually live in a cave and all.
The housing mkt in Hawaii isn't affected by what's going on CONUS is it? I hardly see stuff budge in the HI.

Well actually the house is taken care of, but I wouldn't mind owning other property. In the long run it's the smart thing to do, but still the GT-R calls.
As of now the housing market in Hawaii seems to be leveling off a bit. Still a lot of development going on, but a lot of these seem to be timeshares and winterbird second homes.
We still have the lowest unemployement, but I just can't see the trend continuing for so long, it's got to fall sometime. I'm thinking if the mainland market starts to tank a lot of the secondary investors will need to cut their expenditures like cutting back on winter homes. It's Hawaii though so you never know, they may retain the property and use them as rental units. You can easily do this on Maui since it's dog eat dog out there for housing.

I guess it's easy for you since you live in a cave.
