i saw it too. good movie, very methodical, but very very long. i liked how deliberate it was, and Denzel was really good in it, but it was a long long movie.

i dont get why people complain about long movies?

#1) at least you're getting your money's worth for a $9.50 ticket!!!

#2) i hate it when movies seem rushed.

Godfather was an exceptionally long movie, but I can watch that all day long. Same thing with Scarface. American Gangster is good, but for some reason, if I never saw it again, I wouldn't miss it much. Don't know why, maybe it's just me.

maybe it's because i was watching the dichotomy develop between Denzel Washington's character and Russel Crowe's character and I don't really dig Russel Crowe. personally, the Russel Crowe character was too unbelievable. that, and I remember Serpico so it's been a recycled character.
