I've been working on a new logo for my biz. the business name is AlphaMedia

here is the one I like best... need opinions... does it suck all together, do the colors suck... font? should i add shadows, more glow etc??

here is where i went with this one (in case you couldn't tell)... the yellow in the background forms an M for media... but the alpha is the focal point... it's just a rough mockup that i did in about 5 mins but i like getting other's opinions.

it's real basic... but that's what i am going for... simple yet catchy.

I am not really feeling it. I think the M looks a bit off. I can't quite put my finger on it...

I am trying to picture that logo on a polo shirt and I am thinking it might look funny...
Also see what it looks like all one color. Not everything you print on it going to be in 2 colors. Is it just going to look like a blob?

a polo shirt? ummm bud i wear shirt and tie.

imagine it on letterhead and biz cards.

if i printed it on color i would put a white border around everything... let me post an example.

maybe move the M so it is below the alpha and is the opposite angle of the 'a' at the end (kinda forming a crude arrow). Shorten the M and round the top of the M like you did to the bottom of it..

I am trying to think of things you might brand with your logo. Polo shirts might be one of them...

im not a big fan of logo'd polos. t-shirts with a big centered logo is a possibility.

k... i will keep working on it. i was just playing around with three backslashes and then i put a yellow border around them and morphed it just a bit...

when i first looked, i thought the M was a fist.. then realized it was an M
not bad tho... creative...
the yellow might be a bit dull for my tastes, but also not bad

you may wanna go with spelling out alpha media

something staggered like that. you could put the word media in a different font from alpha

Gotta agree with u. Its kinda just ok. I don't really know how I would change it though

yah i tried writing it out and everything looked so plain. then i tried messing with just the initials (A and M) and it didn't look right either...
