ha thanks... yah this one took me about 5 mins this morning (right before i posted the thread)...

if i tweak it i might be able to get something better out of this general design.

Would not have guessed that to be an M if you hadn't mentioned it. Also that shade of yellow just isn't appealing to look at imo....reminds me of baby diapers.

something you might try with spelling it out, is to have the 'media' part be in negative space so its not totally plain jane.

i dont really want it to be immediately recognizable as an M... that is so plain to me when a logo is straightforward. i like when i see a design and later i'm like ohh wait i see that now ...

as for the colors, i am going for a classy, nautical look considering i live @ the beach and most of my clients are the upper crust. i might change the hue a bit on the yellow, but i'm prob gonna stick with navy and pale yellow.

if you have to keep the M behind the alpha how about making the outline of it not as thick and trying a different color...

how about placing the Alpha and Media like msb's company (with a different font) and instead of the circle thing on the right use (I am going to explain this the best I can)three teardrop looking things where the points start under the word media and circle around to about where the grey circle ends. Kind-of like a wave looking thing. It keeps a bit with the nautical theme....

Ok, kinda like this but flip it on the other side and instead of the flat top on the wave round the tops...this is sorta what I was thinking but not really. It is the closest I could find....and start the wave under 'media' in the same place the circle starts....
