I can't wait to see the outcome of the OU - Baylor game. Thats gonna be funny.

Haha this game will be a joke. What are they favored...last I heard 53 points. OU can start their second string and still win by the point spread I bet. There is no stopping the Sooners this year unfortunately. They will rout whoever they face in the Sugar Bowl...

LSU, USC hasn't played any worthy opponents, same with OU and UT. These teams are overrated year after year and typically only play one truly tough team each year. OU almost lost to ALABAMA, the toughest team they have had to play all year. Alabama isn't even good. I hope that OU plays LSU in New Orleans and gets stomped on by LSU's tremendous defense.

rlipps are you smoking crack man? [] OU and UT haven't played anyone? Have you seen LSU's strength of schedule rank. It is HORRIBLE. That is what is killing them in the BCS. They haven't played anyone worthy at all. Here is the schedule rank according to the latest BCS. (higher number is worse in case you didn't know), second column is rank of all D-I teams:
OU - 0.56 14th
USC - 1.48 37th
LSU - 2.16 54th
UT - 0.68 17th
I hardly think OU and UT haven't played anyone worthy man. The big 12 is arguably the best conference in the nation.
If by some miracle LSU plays OU in the national championship I would take OU by at least two touchdowns! They could probbaly beat quite a few NFL teams they are so good this year...

Oklahoma has yet to play Kansas State, but many analysts believe that they can give OK a run for its money. I believe that it should be an interesting game to say the least.
Their closest game was against Alabama who isn't even ranked (they were held within 7 points). The only two ranked teams they played No. 11Texas and No. 15 Ok. State each lost by a 42 and 43 point defecit respectively. That makes you wonder if those two teams were maybe a little overrated. They were spanked by the #1 team, when a completely miserable and unranked team held them to 7 points.

Texas' only loss besides for the one to Oklahoma was to Arkansas, who LSU mauled. Yes, Texas did play some worthy oponents, such as K State Nebraska, and Ok. State. But a big reason that Oklahoma and Texas are ranked so high is because many of the "private" computers take into account Points for/against, which OK and TX were able to run up really badly because of playing small schools and schools with consistently weak football programs.
LSU's Schedule
August 30........Louisiana Monroe W 49-7

LSU's Strength of Schedule sucks because Western Illinois bought out another teams chance to play LSU and it totally ruined their SOS. I am not saying that LSU should be ranked #1, but I do think that they should be ranked at #2 ahead of USC. Also, it doesn't deny the fact that Oklahoma hasn't had to play any REAL competition except for an unranked Alabama.
USC's only loss was to Cal State who only played one other ranked team all season Kansas State who was over-ranked at #5 in the beginning of the season. USC's Strength of Schedule was also bolstered when they played and beat a completely over-ranked #6 Auburn at the beginning of the season.
Recap: (using current BCS rankings)
LSU has played #7 UGA, #14 UF, #20 Mississippi, and has to play against #7 UGA again. Their only loss was from #14 UF.
USC has played #15 Kansas State and #16 Washington State, and lost to the NOBODY school of Cal State. They are nowhere to be found on the rankings.
Oklahoma has played #6 Texas, #22 Ok. State, #15 Kansas State. They have not lost yet, but K State does have a chance.
Texas has played #15 Kansas State, #1 Oklahoma, #21 Nebraska, #22 Ok. State. An impressive schedule, BUT they nearly lost to Texas Tech. (WTF?) and took a pretty good beating from unranked Arkansas.
LSU beat UGA, who is only .15 points behind Texas in the BCS rankings. Personally, I don't see how UGA, who lost to #3 LSU and #14 UF should be ranked behind Texas who lost to the #1 team and a completely unranked team. But, I guess that is just the nature of the beast. LSU wasn't able to have ridiculously easy oponents throughout most of the season, so they weren't able to have a strong points for/against ratio like USC and Oklahoma. However, if by any chance LSU does play Oklahoma I would be willing to bet a large some of money on LSU while giving Oklahoma 2.5 points. Although I think that LSU would win by something a little more impressive, like 7-17 points.
Well looks like you may get your wish! Syracuse beat Notre Dame so if LSU can finish off Georgia tonight then they just might go to New Orleans to play OU. LSU will receive a beating from OU if thats the case...[]

[] I am gonna hold off on saying "I told you so," but I still have to gloat in light of my awesome predictions... [pimp]

I will still keep my prediction of OU beating LSU in the Sugar, assuming they both go! I do think OU is a better team, but man did they play BAD last night and K-state played awesome! SUCKS for Texas!!!
But hey they still only have 1 loss and to a 15th ranked opponent. They still have a harder strength of schedule than LSU and will probably still be ranked higher in the BCS rankings come Monday...
DAMN OU!!! Screwed Texas over again!!!! Sorry a little pissed...hehe! []

It's too bad. I honestly believe USC would have beaten OU, but now we get to watch them stomp the life out of LSU. With any luck, SC will humiliate Mich. in the Rose Bowl and LSU will lose pathetically to solidify the worthlessness of the BCS system.
