thank god. I know a few people that go there so I got a phone call this morning; supposidely they locked down the dorms this morning then set up checkpoints, etc.
Still doesnt do much good for the college's safety record now. They need to do a lot more IMO.

maybe this wasnt exactly a "hoax". Because of the recent developments regarding violence in several colleges across NJ, someone could have reacted to a noise they heard in the dorms and called the police.
It might not have been malicious, we will see how it pans out.

I knew the kid and he didn't die from hazing. He died because he was an IDIOT. He was at one of his frat's parties and thought he was the sh!t, so he tried to finish a handle of vodka on his own accord. No one forced him to do anything. The 'hazing' that they had to do was a month prior to this event.
Rider is 8 minutes from TCNJ.
The ONLY people that made this a "hazing" incident are the media and the family of the victim. That douche single handedly ruined Rider. Any time a party is suspected the police are called to the scene. My roommate still goes there and says it's 10 times worse than it used to be.

i heard bits and peices of this on the news this morning... dont quote me, but i think they said the kid that called 911 is in jail. someone was in jail bc of it.
