yikes... how scary glad to hear she - and you and your car are okay. Good thing there were witnesses there because you never know what she could try to do later.

I hit someone on a bike before.....

It was like midnight on a weekday and some lil black kid came flying out of a shopping plaza and I swerve to avoid him, but clip is bike and he flew about 5 feet. I stopped, ask if he was all right, and as soon as he said he was "cool", I took the fuck off....

anyways, i guess the lesson for today is:

BE CAREFUL OUT THERE! there are so many dumbasses that God doesn't always take care of them and may actually want them to succumb to natural selection. so watch out for them, you really don't want that on your conscience.

peace.

gamma I'm glad nobody was seriously hurt. I know this type of thing can shake you up a bit, but give it some time you'll be back to redlining your G through the intersection soon enough.

I got hit on my bike once at school (SC). I was stopped at a stop sign and this girl who was trying to go around a left turning car swooshed around and came right at me. I couldn't do a thing but scream in my helmet as she knocked me down like a bowling pin. Stupid bitch had the radio blasting and was speeding. My bike's fairing got scratched but my leg took the brunt of the blow and I had a bruise for months. I got her info but never took any action. Mostly because a buddy of mine had just laid down my brand new GSX-R 750 about a week before so it already had some damage. Thinking back I should have done something but hey it's water under the bridge.

From your story, you shouldn't have anything to worry about gamma. Especially since you got a witness on your side.

nope, this was a while ago before I got the G....and hell no I aint giving him any money, if anything he should be giving me money for not killing him....

this one other time a buddy of mine was at a corner and was inching up to check for traffic to make a turn. He didn't check for pedestrians when all of a sudden some old dude in a wheelchair crossed the street and my buddy hit the dude....all you saw was the chair tilting over about to fall, but luckily it didnt'......

Helped a girl out on a scooter last night, at first it looked like she'd been in a hit & run. She was partway on the sidewalk with the scooter pinning her down still partly in the road. Turns out she'd just wiped out on some gravel trying to get on the sidewalk for whatever reason; but she dislocated her shoulder massively...even through her hoodie you could tell it was dislocated.

Damn it may sound shallow but all I kept thinking was that I hope your G was ok
But no joke it is crazy as hell to hit someone because u could actually kill them literally.
Glad everything turned out alright.

Ouch! Disloc shoulders are no fun. Well, it's fun to set someone else's back in place but not when that person is you. Hope you put hers back into place and gave her a slap on the ass as you sent her home.
