Your right gamma, we don't know for certain who he was fighting for but I can take a good guess. First, he wasn't wearning any recognizable uniform. Second, he was using what looked like old Russian equipment. Third, he was operating a crew served weapon alone (this is asking for trouble). Lastly, he didn't seemed he knew how to operate the weapon system. He probably was adjusting fire by sight, which is like shooting a swarm of bees with a sniper rifle.

There's actually no rifle visible in the vid I posted gamma. I was referring to the 60mm motor he was firing.
