No. Always 8-ball, variations on 8-ball or 9-ball. I play straight pool by myself. I used to play a lot in college. A lot! When I live on campus, I'd stay up until 2 to 3 in the mornings easy on a weeknight just playing by myself. I love the game, and I even enjoy watching it.
I have a shitty cue stick (Cuetech) that I always keep in my trunk, but I play about 2 to 3 times a year now. Nobody to play with and I don't have access to a free pool table anymore.
Got Cue-tec and New Brunswick cues; haven't played in a while due to not having my own table and tables at the bars getting crappier and crappier. Play primarily 8 and 9 ball, though I'm game for trying other styles.
Once I get back in the groove I will swap shooting left and right handed, and even play straight up left handed (right hand dominate) well enough that it seems natural to observers.

my old cue stick was a huebler. i loved it, but it got stolen out of my trunk in college. that's why i bought a cue-tec. not very expensive, fiberglass, and i can keep it in my trunk without worries of it getting warped.
This is the Cuetec I've got, very smooth stroking w/o a glove or any talc. Not sure the model Brunswick as it was a gift, it isn't one of their $300+ models though.
Shooting left handed actually works out better for me since its my off hand it forces me to be more patient.
