Nope, unless you live in some deserted forest in Korea. If anything, Korea is, so far, ahead of most other Asian countries in terms of accepting "western" culture/social precepts and such among the East Asian countries. Look at their entertainment industry/fashion/music/dance/etc. It's literally blowing up and unlike other Asian country's "stuff", Korea has taken it international. Sure the rich still do arranged introductions between their children, but you'd be extremely hard pressed to get a guy/girl to marry some ugly buck toothed chic/dude.

In the mid 90's we did a karaoke night with my friend, his friend, his friend's gf, and her friends. The friend's gf's friend was friggen hot. I find out she's already been promised to a guy, that lucky bastage hit the jackpot.
