MJ the ball player I idolized, but MJ the man is just a plain a**hole. I rememeber me a buddy of mine doing a road trip to watch the Bulls championship playoffs and seeing him in action. Back sometime in the late 90's a friend and I sat with him on a American Airlines flight from NY to LA. We were all in in 1st class but he had two row, yes count them two rows, to himself. We were seated the first row behind his two rows. Well my friend leaned over to ask him for an autograph and maybe a picture. MJ just went off about a celebrity like him can't get any privacy and that people won't leave him alone. He was cusing and just all around being an ass. After that I've never liked him the same. He even told the flight attendants to tell us to get a life. What a prick!
I've done the same, but we have to ask ourselves on how we can idolize someone we don't even know.

He might have done it jus that day, that week or even to various people.
If he really was a dick, he wouldnt be as successful as he is now. His personality would come through off the court and if he really was a dick then ppl would know it.
Look at how ppl look at kobe? Aside from his legal issues, ppl still dont like him. His persona is difficult to hide, hes quiet, not too friendly, more like a loner really.
if thats him thats cool but it doesnt make sense to completely dislike someone because of the way they might have treated u once, especially if they have ppl asking them the same shit ALL THE TIME.
I've seen the Rock at a gym back home, he would wear a visor or hat really low so ppl wouldnt recognize him. Im sure he'd prefer not being asked anything (hence the visor) then have to be rude to anyone...

Don't make excuses for a man you've never met in person. Seriously, I didn't get into the details of the circumstances but this guy is definitely a d1ck! You don't want attention? Be polite about it. It goes with being a celebrity. You don't like it? Then walk away from the hundreds of millions they offer you because of your celebrity status. Yeah, I'd like to see that...
I've met plenty of celebs that aren't rude when they don't want to be bothered. They do it in a courtious fashion. I can totally understand that, but it's when someone goes flying off at the handle yelling like some high school chic, and sounding like one too, that you know they're asses.

this has got to be the most awful thing you could say man! it's the other way around, you shouldnt negatively judge people you havent met. you should take people with good intensions man, you should make up excuses to people as much as you can
