Default Abortion ban

I have to say I agree with this new ban. While I agree with other women's right to choose I do not think in this instance it should be allowed.

I second that, but something about the government telling us what we can and can't do gets under my skin. Libertarian all the way!

A woman's body is her own f*cking concern, not mine... sure the right wingers will say what about the innocent defenseless baby... well that baby is playing parasite & living in the host's aka pregnant woman's body, feeding, living off of & generally being a nuisance & a bum... ergo the woman gets final say!!

This actually isn't a new thing. The Supreme Court simply upheld a ban already in place. The original decision came somewhere in the Clinton years if I remember correctly. It sorta bothers me that it is coming out in the media as "new". It gives the right a chance to tout their "victory" in the Supreme Court and the left the chance to (in this case fallaciously) accuse the right of stacking the court to push their agenda.

I just hate it when people (on either side) are too stupid to realize that they are arguing a completely invalid and/or erroneous point.

Sore subject for you? Sorry to offend.

If it isn't new then how were doctors still doing this procedure? I must say I am a bit confused then. It says now that they will face 2 years in jail for doing the partial birth abortion?

Sorry Ggirl, I didn't mean to be antagonistic or argumentative. I must have posted while watching "Real Time with Bill Maher" or "The Daily Show" and been fired up about something. But I wasn't offended. I was just dreading the next few days of listening to both parties use this event to push invalid arguments in favor of their own political agendas. But it actually seems as if both sides are largely on the same page on this particular aspect of the abortion argument.

As for your question, I don't have an answer for you. As far as I knew, it has been illegal for a few years now.

I just can't see it, a woman 7+ months pregnant going to a doctor that sticks a vacuum with a grinder on it into her womb. He then starts grinding up the baby's head to kill it and ends up sucking the whole thing out of her just does not seem right.

i dont, its a womans choice and it needs to stay that way. how the fuck can you tell someone what to do with their body. i dont give a shit what the circumstances are.

but like homeboy said above me. nothing after4months. b/c the fetus is possibly a viable baby and can postentially survive out of the body. so then it becomes murder

bro when it comes down to cold hard facts and the reality of shit. you said it best. but people dont want to see it that way. espcially people like alot of republicans that want to say from the moment of conception its a "baby". so taking the morning after pill is abortion and murder.

fuckin idiots.

and that statement wasnt directed at republicans that DONT think the same way. so please dont misunderstand my words in advance.
