There were no statistics for children that were adopted from birth (which is actually what we are debating about here). But this does paint a general picture. Interpret as you will.

Also, putting your responbility on others is bad, yes, but the majority of the people that want to adopt a child from birth are genuine in their feelings for adopting. So, like we have been discussing, for me, its better than the alternative.

and case not reported are most likely equal to the amount reported and it doesn tmake a difference whether they were handed over right after birth or not. the point still remains

and as i stated before there are plenty of families that adopt and have abusers, drug users, molesters, alchy's and all so its not a general pic. its reality

i just don't understand. You make claims, but i dont see anything that substantiates them to the point that there is any reason for this discussion.

240ka, do you ever lay in bed at night and wonder what your son or daughter would be doing today? Do you ever think about what it would be like tossing a ball to your son, or maybe watching your daughter ride her bicycle all by herself after you removed the training wheels? Do you ever really just sit back and think what it would have been like to feel your baby's breath against your skin? Do you dream of being an old man and your grandchild sitting on your lap while you read a story to them while your child listens and remembers you reading them the same story when they were young?

Are you trying so hard to convince yourself that you did the right thing, but you really can't.

no i dont b/c i know they'll come back to me at the right time. everything has its time and its place. and this isnt the time for a son or daugther.

So nope its not on either one of our minds. life goes on and i move with it

I know i did the right thing. nor am i ready to be a father i dont want to be one right now.

My goals and achieves are my babies and my only concerns im not letting anything get in the way of that until they've been accomplished

you can think that im playing mind games with myself all you want. my conscience is free. Im only 24 and not at a stage in my life willing to be a parent
