can u have a knife in ur car? i mean is it legal? i have 4 short canes just in case, and 2 hammers in the trunk. i dont know if that's legal either
In Arkansas it is legal to carry a knife with a blade 3 1/2" or less on yourself pretty much anywhere. There are some places where you cannot do so (court houses, schools, etc). There's legislation going through this session to remove the language from chapter 73 of the Arkansas Code automatically making knives over 3 1/2" weapons even if nothing illegal is done with it. Despite it being illegal to do so, I carry a knife with me into the schools since I'm regularly opening boxes and I carry a CRKT M16-SF with a 4" in my laptop bag.
