I'm thinking about trading in my 360 now for the elite model. Mostly for the HDMI, the 120GB hard drive will can be bought separtley later on, so that's not such a big deal.

Why though? The games don't have more than 720p output which doesn't require HDMI and there are much cheaper HDDVD Players out there. Even the elite doesn't have a stock/bundled HD drive...

Well i'm hoping with the realease of NBA street homecourt which is the 1st 1080i game for the 360, that other games will come out in 1080i now that the elite's HDMI enabled.

big difference between 720progressive and the 1080interlaced. if you have the right reciever, they can up convert the picture from 720p to 1080p actually.

ok... i am perfectly happy with my current 360 though.

don't really need a bigger hard drive either.

a native signal is the best, but on my Denon i havent seena huge difference between then and a native HDMI signal
