All men cheat? It's in your blood? Good to know. So why then do men get so upset when they are cheated on? It's okay to cheat on a girl but not to be cheated on? Just curious since like every guy on here has said men cheat... it's what they do...
Generally speaking, most men cheat or have cheated. There are those exceptions of course. And it's not in their blood, it's in their instinct. We aren't designed to be monogamous. Is that an excuse to cheat? Not really. Not when you protest your love and devotion to one another. Still, infidelity has existed since the dawn of time. Since before King David (the guy who slayed Goliath) sent his captain of the army to war so he could have sex with his captain's wife. So . . . it's not like it's anything new.
Men get upset when they get cheated on for the act of betrayal, just like women. No, it's not okay for either party to cheat if you have a verbal agreement with each other to stay faithful. But you must realize, some times men just can't help themselves and it's just physical. No love, no emotions, just straight up physical. So he could truly mean it when he says, "I love you" despite the fact that he had a string of one night stands.
But you gotta protect yourself J. Be wise to his bullshit and accept him at face value. Give him lots of milk at home (you know what I mean) so he won't have to go out and look for it, and tell him that if he ever cheats on you, it's over and stick to it. Can't have a relationship without trust. If you have a relationship without trust, you are just spinning your wheels.
When I was in Paris, I heard this joke about infidelity. "A poll was administered to a large group of men and the question was, what do you do after sex? 10% said they roll over and go to sleep. Another 10% said that they do it again! And the remaining 80% said that they get up and go home."

I think if you settle down with someone and claim to love them and want to be with only them you shouldn't be able to sleep with someone else. And by being able I mean mentally. WHen you claim to love and want to only be with one person something changes and doesn't let you do wrong.

Hey, it's only an excuse if he's trying to use that as his defense. I do not condone infidelity, but it's the real world here, and I just realize that people do cheat. But think about it? What other species stays committed with the femail partner for the remainder of their lives? Chimps, Lions, Dogs, Elephants, . . . what other mammal is committed? None. Zero. Zilch. We are bipedal creatures with vocal cords and advanced thinking, but we aren't really all that advanced. Instinct still drives us. You may call it a bullshit excuse, and if a man cheated on you using this rationale, yeah, you are in your right to call it a bullshit excuse. After all, there is this thing called a promise. Or the phrase, "trust me" was probably used.

Love is most definitely real, but as I have grown older, I have certainly come to realize why people say, "there is a thin line between love and hate."

Penguins mate for life, but they're birds, but there is 1 mammal that mate for life, and 2 mammals that have sex for pleasure, us being one of them.

not all of them have/will cheat. but all of them have the capability/tendency to do it. just make sure you have a leash that is not tight. use ying-and-yang philosophy!
