the Ps3 sucks. Honestly. I have it and my brother actually sold it on ebay for more then we paid. It was funny because after thanksgiving demand went down, when most ppl thought it would increase.
The ps3 is too expensive for the features you pay for. The graphics arent great. Sure, they say 1080p, but quality isnt all their. Then ppl say
"you get blu ray". Well the blu ray disc player sucks, A LOT. Not only does it take a few minutes for the disc to load, the player has lackluster features.
For true home theater buffs (ps3 tried to attract this audience with the player) they will get a specific blu ray player unit or an hd dvd unit, not a Ps3. Thats where some of their marketing campaing went wrong.

buying a ps3 is basically the same thing as buying a 360.
i'm mostly into sport and racing games, therefore, the wii was just fine for me. plus, i really like the legend of zelda.

i mainly bought the 360 for the same reasons. i only play sports and racing games with the occasional exception for a first person shooter. since gran tourismo 5 isn't out until late 2008, Forza 2 for the 360 will be the best racing game out for a while, and it's out this april. i'm going to give it a week. i only have nba live '07 and madden '07 though. if i start to like it, i'll keep it. otherwise, sony and i are gonna be new best friends.

the problem with the wii is the fact that it doesnt have a basketball game out yet. it does have madden. i've been playing football games since the sega genesis, and honestly, i've never had so much fun playing any football game since i got the wii.
as for racing, the only racing game that grabs my attention from the 360 line up is project gotham.

I'm surprised you don't like it. It sounds like the Wii might not be for you. However, I don't know if I would give up on the 360 yet for the PS3. The PS3 hasn't been out that long and doesn't have as many games as the 360. Plus, game developers have had a chance to work with the 360 for at least a year longer than the PS3, which will help in making better games. Game developers don't know as much about the PS3 as they might the 360 right now. Thats why you are seeing better graphics on the 360. I've also read that for programers, the PS3 is a bitch to work with. So there is a huge learning curve.
Great games are out and coming out for the 360. I would hold on to it.

Every 4 years it's a clean slate for the gaming industry. Every 4 years, the systems change and some new video game system is #1. Sony held the title for a while, but I doubt it will last.
I put all kinds of things on my wedding registry. I put the Xbox 360 on it for I can't wait for Halo 3. However I would definitely consider buying the Wii as well.
^^^Bullshit. I've played Halo 2 live and I love it. The game itself is pretty good, but I love that you can dual wield now. And how can you not love using the sword?

got no smile and lack a lavish lifestyle but its cool cuz I came up hungry, jus a lil Latino tryin to make it and when I make it.. I promise the world wont lightly take it.
because the sword is a ridiculous one or two hit kill. it's suppose to be futuristic warfare, not medieval
not to mention that the guns basically carry no ammo whatsoever. the whole dual gun idea sounded like a good idea, but it's not. i like what they did to the vehicles, but overall, halo 2 was a step down. i dont even think they made a PC version for it, that's how much it sucked.
