which car magazines, if any, do you guys subscribe to? i ususally only buy magazines when i'm in an airport or bookstore, but after buying quite a few at DFW on monday, i'm very interested in more. C & D and R & T are cool, but i'd like something with a little more color.

C&D, R&T, Motortrend, and Automobile. Occasionally pick up an issue of SCC or other tuner oriented mags when something in 'em catches my eye.

Let's see, I subscribe to a ton of them. It's good to get differing point of views from different mags/testers. One you didn't mention and probably wouldn't be interested in is European Car. I tend to like Motor trend and Automobile, although Car & Driver is very good too. This all on top of all the other financial mags and Motorcycle mags I get. I don't have enough time to read through them all though.

Has European Car gotten beyond reviewing the same cars over and over every month? In the year I was subscribed I swear there was no less than 10 Jetta reviews...GLI, GTI, VR6 I don't care it's still a damn Jetta!

Well with not a lot of European makes to review it can get a bit boring, but overall the mag's ok.

Google "free magazine subscriptions", there should usually be something that's free, it takes about 4-8 weeks to get your first issue, but it's free.
