Now that is one intimidating face that I am glad to have on my side, flying for my skys!
Just a curious jet-pilot wanna be question here, but do you really get to fly the F/A-22 Raptor? I am so jealous, how does it compare to the other jets you have piloted? Shouldn't you be in Nevada if you are flying one? Anyway, I just wanted to [bowdown] to the fighter pilot.[]
DANG RaptorPilot you are my new idol man. Not only have I always dreamt of being a pilot and almost enrolled in the Air Force to become one but an R6 is my dream bike and will be getting one when I turn 25. Those pics are sweet of you on the bike.
Also are you stationed at Randolph AFB by any chance? I see you fly the T-38's...the training planes they use there at Randolph. How long have you been in the Air Force? Also once you enrolled how long did it take you to start flying?

I'm at Moody AFB right now... In Georgia. It's actually an AT-38C, the one with the upgraded avionics package. I start my flight training in the first week of October. I'll be flying the T-6A Texan II (shown below), an 1100 HP turbine-driven prop for the next 6 months. I was enlisted in the Air National Guard as an F-16 avionics specialist while I went to college in CA. After I graduated I put in for a pilot slot with active duty and here I am.
As for my riding, I started in 2000. Yes, my knee is on the ground in that picture. I'll upload some more motorcycle pix if you guys want to see them. Putting your knee on the ground at speeds up to and over 100 mph is such a rush. The asphault feel like glass at that point. If you want to improve your riding take a track school such as DP Safety School.
I'll take to the racetrack any day over stunnin (aka doing stunts), but if anyone has questions about riding I'm happy to answer them. I'm familiar with both the street and stunt scene. A lot of my good friends have DVDs out with their stunt videos: SBF, Servin it Up, and Get On Up. Here are their websites if you're interested:

I'm not guaranteed a spot in the F/A-22 yet, but that is my goal that I'm working towards. I'm in training right now. I could end up flying heavies, but I'm confident in my abilities to become a fighter pilot. More than likely I'll fly an F-15 or F-16 before getting to the Raptor. The training won't be in Nevada though, it'll be in Florida.
Well I wish you the best of luck! I know that Lockheed just recently delivered the first F/A-22 to a base in Nevada, I thought that maybe you were the lucky SOB who got to fly it there. [boink]
Damn... Thank you for the web site, I'm going CRAZY looking for clear markers, Do you know where i can find some?

Raptor - Good luck with the pilot training. I wish I had gotten to train in the T-6, that's a sweet plane. Looks like we have very similar likes. I've got a YZF-600, A G35 6mt and I'm an AF pilot as well. Tanker, KC-135. I originally wanted to go fighters as well, until I got into training and talked to some of the heavy guys about what they did. I like the relaxed, take it easy approach of heavies. Good luck though, hope you get what you want. Any ??'s feel free.
Where are you flying the 135s out of? I used to live in CA, but I'm in GA right now. You should check out my website and message board at http://raptorpilot.com and http://raptorpilot.com/mboard. Register on the board and start some conversations. I made it so that other people interested in becoming a pilot would have a good resource to ask questions about the process.
