The context is different for sure. However, why ban a word entirely? Why not go to all the books with the N-word and burn them?

Also, when you drive around how many of you have said, that stupid (insert ethnic background) lady/guy? We've all done it. Aren't we racist?
The fact is this PC stuff is just going too far. How many people today were slaves? Too many people blame their lot in life today for sins on their ancestors. Their situation in life today is of their own doing.

Yes we are and yes I am. I've never used the N word at someone, but I've thrown the word "beaner or wetback" out. I think I'm more misogynistic than racist when I drive though. Yes, I am imperfect. Now what does Abner and a bunch of sick New York PD guys have to do with this? What ethnic backgrounds were all of the officers involved? For something also unrelated to this, let's bring up Mel Gibson, why no hate for Mel as his anti-semetic comments have been long running and on multiple occasions and has gone into the films he has made? No love for the Jews? I mean they were never persecuted as slaves here, but they did put up with the holocaust.

Just because we call someone a derogatory comment doesn't make people racists. You guys who live in segregated communities need to learn that. I must admit that I truly discriminate against the Idiot Race, I cannot stand them and wish they were wiped out of existence (read Lawyers here).

I know what you mean James, and I've used that term (Nigga) myself - sparingly - and to people who aren't Black. I've also used the word with people who are Black and it's cool . . . but we're cool like that though. Would I encourage it? No.

So are you now a racist too since you aren't Jewish, Korean, or Mexican and use those words? Words are just words, people empower them by running around like chickens with their heads lopped off. In Hawaii, I as a Japanese guy can call a Samoan a sole and not have to worry about getting my head ripped off, or a Hawaiian a moke. Doesn't make me racist, but then again we don't isolate ourselves in Japantown, Koreatown, Chinatown, Whitemantown...........
